Current job (2021): Founder and CEO of Maziwa, a social enterprise that has launched the only breast pump tailored to working mothers in developing countries.

Prior to making it possible for nursing mothers to work: Sahar worked in healthcare brand management at companies like Johnson & Johnson in Canada and the U.K.
She believes her passion for emerging markets: May come from her background. She was born in in Vancouver, Canada, and her parents are from Tanzania and India.
In her free time: She enjoys running, yoga, live music, and dystopian fiction.
