William G. McGowan Charitable Fund
As the chair of the William G. McGowan Charitable Fund and its fellows committee, William P. McGowan advances the legacy of his late uncle who was a transformative corporate leader. The Fund has granted more than $180 million to effective organizations in the areas of education, human services, and healthcare and medical research since 1993.
Alongside his work with the Fund, Bill serves as a facilities management director for the U.S. government in the Government Services Administration. As heartland region director, Bill has represented GSA at major building dedications.
Bill holds five certifications in the commercial real estate industry, served as president of the Kansas City Chapter of Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute, and holds a BS in business administration from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the University of Missouri.
